We support students in choosing and preparing for the educational and career paths that align with their goals and aspirations. Through KIPP Forward, we help students navigate high school, college, and career decisions so they can pursue a choice-filled life.
The KIPP Forward Difference
KIPP Forward helps KIPP KC students discover and prepare for the postsecondary path that best fits their goals, interests, and aspirations—college, career, and beyond. Beginning in high school, students receive individualized support with college and career exploration, academic planning, college and scholarship applications, financial aid, and career-connected learning. Through partnerships with colleges, employers, and community organizations, students gain access to experiences and opportunities that prepare them to thrive after graduation. Our goal is to ensure every student leaves KIPP KC with a clear plan, the skills to pursue it, and the support to turn their aspirations into reality.

Resources
Starting in 11th grade, KIPP KC students focus on college and career readiness, building the skills needed for their next steps. They receive support in resume building, ACT/SAT preparation, college essay writing, and data-driven college research. Students also complete college applications, scholarship submissions, and FAFSA applications to ensure they have access to the best-fit opportunities for their future.
